The Farmstand

History

We started as first generation farmers in 2010. We quickly started researching the healthiest alternatives to our food and animal care and the importance of that. We spent the next several years raising grassfed cattle, pasture raised pork, chicken and eggs and quickly added veggies into the mix. We spent several years doing various farmers markets including the one in Battle Lake! We have always been passionate about farm to fork and so we tried to reach out to several local restaurants to encourage them to adopt a few of our items as a farm to table feature but was not successful in that. So, in 2019 we purchased a food truck and had great success bring our grassfed burgers and local/hand battered cheese curds. So, in 2023 we decided to take the leap and purchase a brick and mortar right in downtown Henning. We are so delighted to have a year round brick and mortar and serve our community with wholesome food year round!
