June 2025 (Update) If I could leave a 100 star review I absolutely would. This January, we fell behind in our obedience with our two Corgis listed below. We were living in constant fear of a dog fight with a newborn at home. We were dreading the decision of potentially having to rehome one our our dogs. In desperation I texted Lily who has worked with our troublesome dogs before. She responded with in 10 minutes!! She told us to bring Nash in as soon as we could drive up there, the next day. When we dropped off Nash, we didn't know how long the training was going to take. Lily was determined to keep him as long as she needed before she felt comfortable with where he was at. During the next 6 weeks or so, Lily and her team worked and incorporated Muzzle training for our reactive dog and making him comfortable with this new tools and refresher of commands. She reassured us that muzzles actually make some dogs more comfortable and really just make everybody safe. She contacted us frequently with updates and actually called to extend his stay twice. She was working on any and all potential triggers that she could recreate at training and wanted to keep going. This shows truly how much she cares! (Not just shipping him out the door when it was close enough). She actually drove 8 hours to bring him back to our home and make sure he could re-acclimate. With the assumption that if something went wrong, she would bring BOTH our dogs back with her to continue training. Thankfully, this didn't need to happen, but SERIOUSLY that is how much she cares about her clients. During her visit to our home, She made us extremely comfortable with our new tools to make both of our dogs, and our family, safe again. Since January when this all went down, Lily has texted me multiple times to check and see if everything is going ok and if there is anything she can help with. The level of care (5 years after originally purchasing our dogs from them) is honestly remarkable and unheard of. Congratulations to the you all on the new location and your wonderful staff. We have referred as many people as we can for troublesome dogs to you all and will continue to do so. You are genuinely miracle workers and I eternally grateful for you all. ...... (March 2022)Original Post Beyond grateful for the extremely talented group of trainers @prairiepeak . Lily and Jack took Nash in 8 weeks ago after one of the hardest days of my life. Nash and Auggie needed some MAJOR obedience work. We had been struggling with our two dogs becoming aggressive and territorial in our home around food and me. In March I was home alone and needed to break up a fight between the two dogs and ended up in the ER getting 8 stitches in my hand. Thankfully, Jack was there for us and called me right away. Took Nash in the NEXT DAY for his 8 week master course and began working him immediately. At the 4 week mark, we brought Auggie up to join Nash in the efforts of removing the aggression toward each other. Through basic command and authority over the dogs the behavior in BOTH dogs is night and day from the moment we dropped them off. Through this process, my husband and I have learned that we needed training as well as to how to be the leaders of the pack. I encourage everybody who owns a dog to read "The Good Dog Way" by Sean O'Shea. As we realized that we were not being good leaders for our dogs who were desperate for leadership. We are so happy and excited that we get to start over with the boys and we have regained control and confidence in our dogs. The work is just starting for us and will always be a work in process. But we have been given the greatest gift of knowledge from the experts. I am forever grateful that the breeder that gave us our family, worked so hard to make it so our family can stay together.
