What a great place to stay. This is a totally physically contact free Inn. Everything is done online. Worked perfectly. There is a number to call if you need anything and someone answered and helped me out at 10:30 at night. Rooms 1-12 have a front veranda with seating but not a straight on lake view. There is a center room for guests to use a computer, printer, coffee maker, get brochures and beside there is a separate building to do laundry. I never checked that out. No need. Our room was 13- The Tornado Room. Says so right in the door. You go down a short flight of stairs to a larger basement room. Oh don’t be shy. It was great. Kitchenette, full fridge, microwave, sink, storage, table and chairs but no utensils or dishes. A lovely bathroom that could almost have served as a bedroom. Plenty of room. The space itself was large and open. If you have kids plenty of play room for them. A very comfortable and cool room considering it was 32/85 or better everyday. Has A/C of course. When looking at the Inn I would say that our downstairs room was almost the same size as two main floor rooms above us. Great value here that is for sure.

Response from Battle Lake Inn Hi Wanda! We really appreciate your detailed review - especially of the basement level double queen. You're correct - it is extra spacious and doubles as space for a tornado shelter, if it was ever needed. We don't actually have a computer for guests to use but there is a printer plus additional supplies such as ice, coffee, towels, etc that is accessible for guests during their stay if needed. Again, thank you for your review and we hope to see you back sometime!
